Abhishek shah
is an I.I. Rabi Scholar in Columbia College (’21) majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. After graduating, he hopes to pursue a PhD in Neurobiology, with the goal of becoming a researcher. He is currently investigating the neurobiology of ketamine’s action as an antidepressant at the Denny lab at CUMC. Aside from science, he enjoys playing the violin and is a part of the Columbia University Orchestra. He is also on the board of Ahimsa, Columbia's Jain organization, and a member of the I.I. Rabi Scholars social committee. His other interests include cooking, procrastinating, and bringing up his summer abroad.
